1. Who we are

This website is operated by Dobrinoiu BV, trading as TBL Tech, registered in Belgium under VAT number BE 1008.752.092, with its registered office at Kortrijkseweg 361/D11, 8791 Waregem, Belgium.

2. Our role: controller vs. processor

For the personal data described in this policy — the data you provide when browsing or contacting us through this website — Dobrinoiu BV is the data controller.

This is separate from the devices and any data stored on them that we handle once a collection has been agreed. There, TBL Tech typically acts as a data processor on behalf of the business that owned the equipment, under a separate written data processing agreement. If your request concerns data that was stored on a device we collected and erased, please direct it to the business that sent us that device, as they remain the data controller for that data, not TBL Tech.

3. What data we collect

We only collect personal data that you actively provide to us, mainly through the contact and quote request form on this website. Depending on what you fill in, this may include:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your company name
• The message you send us and any device list or file you attach

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect payment card details through this website.

4. Why we collect it

We use the data you submit to respond to your enquiry, prepare an initial estimate, arrange a collection, and communicate with you about an ongoing or potential transaction. We do not use it for unrelated marketing without your separate consent.

5. Legal basis

We process this data because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement with you, or to perform an agreement we already have with you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Where that does not apply, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries sent to us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6. Who we share data with

Form submissions on this website are processed through Netlify Forms, our website hosting provider, purely as a technical intermediary to deliver your message to us. We do not sell, rent or share your contact details with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

7. How long we keep it

How long we keep your data depends on whether your enquiry becomes an actual transaction:

8. Cookies and local storage

This website does not use tracking or analytics cookies. The only piece of information stored in your browser is your language preference (English, Dutch or French), saved locally on your device so the site remembers your choice on your next visit. This preference is never sent to us or to any third party.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data, where applicable
• Object to or restrict how we process your data
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

10. Verifying your identity

To protect your data from being disclosed to the wrong person, we may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request under Clause 9 — for example, by requesting the request come from the same email address you originally contacted us from, or by asking for a copy of an ID document with sensitive fields (photo, ID number, signature) covered. We will respond within one month of a verified request.

11. Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling in connection with the personal data described in this policy. Every estimate and every final price is reviewed and confirmed by a person.

12. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data you share with us against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
